> Richard, I have a problem with using DVDs for back up as well. Sorry I can't
solve yours, but hope that someone can tell me why, when I insert a DVD to
burn a back up, it is not recognised and I get message asking me to insert a
DVD or CD into the drive. I t works fine with CDs, and plays video DVDs ok
too.
