Well, I'm not sure what exactly the problem was. I formated the drive and used a shorter cord (never had problems with a longer cord but may have something to do with the PSU in the new rig) Thanks for the help. BTW KOC, is there something different I should be doing when swapping out USB drives on the same port. (currently I have 2 flash sticks and the passport all plugged into a powered external hub and everything seems to be working fine). |
