Re: Seagate IDE to USB drive in Windows Vista
I am having the same problem with USB IDE devices in Vista Business. I have a Mac and run Fusion and have both Windows XP and Windows Vista Business installed. The IDE devices work on the Mac OS and Windows XP but not with Vista Business. The devices appear to be connected without any error messages but when you look in my computer they are not there so you can't access the drive(s).
Since the drives work on the Mac OS and Windows XP on the same machine my conclusion is this is another flaky problem with Windows Vista.
If anyone comes up with a solution, I certainly would be interested. |
