FYI, I did have 3 updates about a week ago for Vista. They were:
-Windows malicious software Removal tool
-Update for Windows Mail junk email filter
- Update for Windows Vista (KB946041)
Here is the exact text I get when I try to open a file:
Windows cannot find
'C:\Users\....\filename.xls'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, then
try again.
