If this question concerns features of WLMail
it could imply that the user is viewing messages
with Read option: Read all messages in plain text
checked when the message being viewed does not
have a plain text component, only an HTML component.

In that case you could try using the keyboard shortcut
to temporarily disable that feature: Alt-Shift-H
or press Ctrl-F3 and view the entire source of the
message.
