| Like the title says, I am trying to run an HP Laserjet 1000 on my 64-bit Vista, and haven't had any luck with it so far. An earlier post asked for help with a HP 1010 and I tried those methods and no luck there either.
Basically I'm looking for confirmation that my printer has been rendered useless, haha. Thanks for your time. | |

It would appear that you have fallen foul of HP's non-existant Vista support for their products. This is not the first case (either in this forum, or at work) that I've dealt with regarding Vista driver support from HP.
HP used to mean Hewlett Packard, but since Vista was relased, it should be renamed to Horribly Pathetic. They'd prefer you buy a new printer before they provide Vista drivers for their products.
