I thank you for the suggestions. At the moment, I have no Network icon even
though I am connected.

Somethin' aint't right. DH
Ok Dave. That's something different all together then. See this tutorial instead to see if "Network" is not grayed out and if you can check it.

If you can, then check to see if the Network icon is set to hide here.
