It sounds like you have your display resolution set too low. This link will
show you how to set the display:

If that doesn't help, post back with the size of your monitor, whether it is
a CRT or LCD flat panel, and if the problem always existed. You should
include whether this is a desktop or laptop and what version of Vista it is
running. Remember that we can't see your computer from here so you need to
be descriptive about the problem.
