In Vista x64 when you Ctrl+Alt+Del you are presented with a screen listing a few options. At the bottom of the list is the option "Start Task Manager". This launches Windows Task Manager. The second tab label "Processes" lists all the user owned processes running. All processes ending *32 are running under "virtualization" i.e. 32 bit emulation. Also note that there are some processes named "rundll32.exe"; these are also 32 bit prcocesses using windows rundll32 as a wrapper.
To end/terminate a process: highlight it then click the button on the bottom right labeled "End Process".
BE CAREFUL!
It is best to do some research on what that processes does before messing with it. You can seriously mess with your system and require a hard reboot to recover.
