Thank you scrooge. I have switched the cables round but it made no difference.
The error is Cable Test::Read diagnostics sector error! This happens with
the Quick test so I don't get very far.
When I fire up the Western Digital Data Lifeguard Diagnostics tool the
Physical Drive just shows one drive of 263883 GB. The Logical Drive shows
the full 500 Gb that is on two RAID 0 disks. How do I know if the diagnostic
tool is working correctly please?
