Hi Dicky,
I would just get yourself a small cheap $25 or so USB flash drive stick to use for making the password reset disk. It would be cheaper, easier, and more reliable than a floppy.
If you find yourself in a bind before then, this tutorial will show you some methods on how to reset the password.
