Robert, it really is difficult to picture what you describe above.
Definitely not what you assume from your post.
First off go to tools>options>read, and remove the check mark from get ###
headers.
Do a Sync all from the tools menu, (that button can be added to the toolbar,
via customise).
Now as belt and braces, while viewing this group, go to tools>get headers,
those combined should show all available on the server.
You know, to have 'show all messages' selected in view>current view, so I
will not mention that :-)
