I'm out of idea, as I'm not a "geek", figure of speech. Just one wild guess, it happened after you installed the SP1 ? If so, I can only suggest ,and a lot of people will yell at me, perhaps you would consider un-installed it. It's like i-phone came out, why do we Have to have it ?? Your computer life was pretty stable before, isn't it ?
