I have similar problem except there are > 12,000 messages from multiple groups
in All News.
I accidentally deleted large a news account, and then tried to recover by
cancelling the delete process.
I only wanted news in WLM for 30 minutes while I checked why I was not able to
post to a new USP account. That's sorted but WLM has a bucket load of .....
