WLM for multiple users A very basic question so please bear with me.
Currently running XP sp2 with multiple user accounts on XP. Each user
has there own OE account accessing their various email boxes (Hotmail,
Gmail, Compuserve, Virgin Media etc via POP or HTML). All Hotmail
accounts are the old free ones.
It seems that very soon I'll have no choice but to move to WLM for
Hotmail access, so would rather use WLM for everything.
So the question is can I still have separate WLM accounts for each
user on the PC so that each can only access their own email, can each
account be set up to pull mail from all of their various mailboxes,
and only allow links to their own Windows Live Messenger accounts?
Is there anything in particular to watch out for when migrating from
OE to WLM (existing email, address books, additional mail folders with
stored email etc). We also have archives of old mail stored as .eml
files in personal folders, will I need to keep OE available to access
these?
I'm trying to understand how it's going to work for me before I
actually install WLM in case I mess something up and incur the wrath
of the family!
Thanks for any advice.
