OP says "Currently running XP sp2 with multiple user accounts on XP." so I
am assuming he has multiple Windows user logins and everything will be fine.
Each user would then have separate message store, address book and account
settings which will be imported by Windows Live Mail on first start up. WLM
puts all its own data somewhere in "%APPDATA%", which is different for each
Windows log in. Backing up data before the change wouldn't hurt though.
WRT "Identities", Control Panel under Vista with Office 2007 has a "Mail"
icon that allows one to "Setup multiple profiles of e-mail accounts and data
files. Typically, you need only one." Never used it. Can't recommed it.
It appears to be useful for Outlook only.
