Re: nForce driver problem: no more boot

Although I agree that it is important for drivers to be kept up to date, there is, in my mind, an exception to this rule. Motherboard drivers are fundamental to the smooth operation of your system and are best installed during the initial installation of Vista. It is possible that the updated driver you installed doesn't understand RAID (there are different versions of drivers available for RAID and non-RAID systems). I am still using the same motherboard driver that I used when I first installed Vista originally (I reinstalled Vista at the beginning of January this year, but am still using the same driver as I have had no problems with it).
