I tried to find an answer for you but I could only find the two
articles in the links below. It may have nothing to do with CCleaner as I
have never had this problem while using it. It seems the problem may be
caused by something in the SP1 update.

Thank you for you reply. I don't have SP1, but by following the first link, one of the responses mentioned about going through Control Panel and found out the buttons were available instead of greyed out. Of course I can't confirm that claim now. But I'll keep that in mind. Thanks again.
