It could, but unless you can do some troubleshooting to narrow down the
potential problem list, there's no way to tell.

I don't have a different monitor to try, but I changed the screen
resolution and it didn't do anything. Could it have something to do
with the video card? I have a GeFORCE 7300 LE w/ 256MB.
