Slow speed Between Computer and Router

my computer to my router 48 ms according to my internet provider he says thats high is there a way to reset this and fix this?
I have a Speed Touch 585 Router and the Firm ware update date is up to date i one if all the setting i did to help me here restting thing's in my regit edit screwed up some how ? |
