Hi,

Great, you're in the right place. You just need to paste the filename in the File name field
in the 'Select a custom emoticon' window that appears when you click Find Image, and then
click the Open button. Also, you could just navigate over to that folder as you would a
normal file.

However be aware that Messenger does support the WMF format (which Microsoft uses for a good
percentage of clipart), it won't immediately be listed in that dialog window if you're just
browsing -- so just pasting the filename directly in still the best idea.

Here's a screenshot showing exactly what I mean:

All I need to do here is click the Open button and then fill out the rest of the emoticon
dialog behind it (the name of the emoticon and key to use) and I've got my emoticon!
