Hello atkc1,
Here is how to get your recycle bin back :
1. right click on an open space on your desktop
2. click Personalize
3. left panel, click Change desktop icons
4. under Desktop Icons heading, make sure checkmark the box in front of Recycle Bin
5. (same window) click Recycle Bin (Full), click Change icon
6. click recycle bin (Full), click OK
7. repeat #5 and #6, EXCEPT click recycle bin (Empty) this time
8. click Apply/OK.
Your recycle bin will be back where it was.
