Hi Sebya, You are correct with it being a hardware issue, as soon as I replaced the card and hit set up TV it was there. I hooked up rabbit ears but no reception so I tried cable and got all the channels plus guide. I think it said one tuner found do you want to configer. I will answer the questions above in a couple of days to help others also. There was at least 150 questions I came across from users with this problem. With reference to the name of the card that is what I gave HP and I got the same card back from them, it has ViXS right on the card. Anyway I will post in a day or so after I try out this new card but for now it gets all the channels plus guide only problem is that the picture is not as clear as I would like.
