If you have never manually installed WLM on a PC, it will never be
pushed to you.

If you have installed WLM, then any updates will appear on Windows
Update. If you have enabled Auto-Updates, then the updates will be
installed when Microsoft marks them as High Priority as happens with
Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, etc. Without auto-updates enabled,
you need to manually check for updates.

If you are using some other mail client, Microsoft will not force a
change on you.
