Microsoft have not listed any problems with System Restore and my MS Service Rep has yet to hear of any problems with it either, I am also yet to get one phone call from someone saying its broken or have one of my machines returned...I actually just helped a customer use system restore a few minutes ago after they accidentally installed spyware while downloading though limewire....
Its either something you have installed or a program you have used to tweak or modify Vista..
Did you check the system restore service is running and have you changed any folder permissions on C\SystemVolumeInfomation?, Do you use any registry cleaners or system utility software or any other programs that clean or modify the system in any way? |
