Did you remove *all* "Microsoft Communities" accounts in WLMail, and delete *all* "Microsoft Communities" folders in your WLMail Message Store? Please follow my instructions again and make sure you do.
To remove all the "Microsoft Communities..." news accounts, use: Tools->Accounts...'News' [section]->[highlight each "Microsoft Communities" account]->Remove [button].
