Hi Heeps,

The .torrent file is a link to the real file, Try Torrent - The Lightweight and Efficient BitTorrent Client to open the .torrent file and download the cd image.

To boot the recovery CD you change the boot order in your BIOS placing the CD/DVD drive first.
