OK, so what do you suggest that the OP does next?

Maybe place his drive in another machine and get his important files off of
it?

Then maybe run sfc /scannow being as system restore is crippled?

Trouble is that SFC can only do so much, do you agree?

Now what? Use his complete system backup?

Maybe you should ask if the OP has one?

Doubtful though, because the OP would have tried that already..

I started the ball rolling.. now you finish by giving the OP an idea of what
he can do. Carey has already suggested something, most likely what the OP
will have to do.
