Have you downloaded the latest system and graphics drivers for your devices?
Have you also downloaded the latest game patch for each game?
You need these to make the games work

| I have vista home basic 32 bit and i have installed and tryed to play numerous games including: Medieval 2: Total War, Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth 2 and recently Farcry. When i open Medieval 2, u can see the cursor with the loading hour glass and then it says "Error" and closes. Battle for Middle Earth 2 loads with a blank black screen but u can hear the sound from the menu. And Farcry loads with a blank black screen but u cant hear or see anything.
My Specs are.
Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.20ghz (2 CPUs), ~3.2ghz
1022mb RAM
Nvidia GeForce 6200 Turbo Cache - Intergrated RAMDAC 266mb
And I currently have DirectX 10
Im so bored and need to play these games. 
Anyhelp would be awesome.
