I have had similar problem if I send message without a subject, WLMail asks
if I want to send, I respond no, I put cursor in subject, I type but
keystrokes fall into bitbucket.
So I enter subject into body of mail/message, then cut using ctl/X, then I
put cursor into subject and type ctl/V - nothing, but right click Paste or
use the Paste button on my Office keyboard and hey voila, the subject I
typed into message body is there in the subject.
