I have the same problem.
All boxes checked to save, but none are. In fact the password boxes become
blank as the check-box is checked to save!
Un-install, re-boot, re-install, reboot - no change
When first installed 6 weeks or so ago, Windows Live did save passwords.
The password problem started two weeks ago. Maybe from a Windows update?
Any other ideas?
