In addition to the other suggestions, some of the following have impacted password memory in the past ?
Using a password on your Windows Profile ?
Is the Windows Live Sign-In Assistant installed ?
Deleted all Network accounts in Control Panel/User Accounts/Select User Account(yours)/Manage My Network Passwords ?
