Hi Tracy,

Yep, it's missing. To modify file extensions such as you are suggesting
requires registry editing. There is a dialog in the Control Panel/Default
Programs to change the association, but direct editing for modification is
not possible.

I would suggest examining your XP system's HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT entry for that
file type and modify the Vista key similarly.
