Thank you for the extra information. When you use a sound card, the on-board audio solution is automatically disabled, so it would appear that the most likely cause of your problem would probably be that your front panel audio is connected to the wrong header. I have checked the manuals for your motherboard and sound card, and both use the same header for the front panel. It should, therefore, be a relatively easy matter to unplug the audio cable from your motherboard and connect it to the relevant header on your sound card. The items in red indicate the location of the headers - JAUD1 for your motherboard and item 10 for your sound card. Refer to your manuals for more information on these headers.
