Why did you reinstall Norton when it caused the problem with Windows Mail?
Norton software is one of the top three troublemakers for Windows Mail.
If you want Windows Mail to work reliably you will have to uninstall Norton,
and follow that up with their debris removal tool. We can recommend a free
antivirus that is compatible with Windows Mail.
Alternatively, you can upgrade to Windows Live Mail, which is less
prone to corruption from antivirus program activity.
