Re: Windows Mail Problem

Gary,

I do not know that Norton has created the problem, from some of the few suggestions I have had, I deleted and re-installed cleanly hoping that it would clear the problem but it hasn’t. On re-installing Norton through the Norton site I managed to get an upgrade to Norton V2 from my original version so in effect have a new version of 360. I have not had a problem in the past with Norton and have used it for 7-8 years without any problems, clearly though from some people there does seem to be the odd glitch sometimes.

When I deleted Norton, the first time, I tried to run my mail account again without any AV, cleared my email accounts and re-entered them but the problem was still there.

I have contacted Norton now and have told them of the suggestions to ditch their programme which I'm sure they wouldn’t be happy about and await their reply.

I haven’t used Windows Live Mail before, what effect if any will that have on e-mail settings, addresses etc?

All suggestions gratefully accepted
