Eset Nod32 AV is still the top dog in AV but their firewall is not mature yet so the ESS suite is not recommended. ESS Firewall only pulled 5% in recent tests at Matousec.
Comodo Firewall Pro is the best Free firewall @ 95% and it's the 3rd ranked firewall free or not.
With Eset Nod 32 and Comodo Firewall, your base security suite will be about as good as you can get. |
