I use Control Panel Classic View so your setup might look different, but in there
somewhere should be Administrative Tools=>Event Viewer=>Windows Logs. See if there's entries about errors or warnings. Sounds like maybe something Plug & Play
ain't playin' nicely. Another thing you can do is boot into safe mode and watch the startup messages(choose the option to not use the boot screen but watch the console for the startup output.) You might see something having problems there. |
