Re: Vista really slow start-up

I tried booting with OS boot information setting. It loads the drivers very fast upto crcdisk.sys. Right after that the screen changes and there's Microsoft Windows version blabla SP1, 4 system processor system etc. Then it thinks a bit and then new text comes up with something like:
Code:
Checking file system on C:
Volume ia clean
Windows has finished checking the file system
and then it boots. It takes about a minute to boot.
It used to boot in about 20 seconds.
Why is it checking the file system so long time and how can I make it take less time or turn the checking off?

Thanks
