Either he's using a customized ISO from a non-legit source or he has a version of Vista that no one else on this earth has.

The only thing that can help him is a re-install with a real disc.

popup window, I don't know what to tell you. Anyone else?
By the way, I noticed my instructions were for the classic view of control
panel, but from what you're writing it sounds like you got there anyway.
