hi, I have the same problem re "ntoskrnl.exe" i followed your advice to Steve and checked out the link, problem "our machine (Acer) had the VISTA already installed and we did not make back up discs
, is there any other fixes?
This problem initially started when the computer tried to download 3 updates then tried to restart and as unable to the start up repair kicked in but it constantly does back to trying to update but fails!.
