I have SP1, I scanned with Spybot S&D, everything seems to be clean. DNS - but I am using an IP address - is it DNS involved then?
I have tried with no firewall and no antivirus installed.
Still no connection.
Is there any setting in Vista which does not allow to connect to IP address if it does not have URL defined?? - my colegue has set another server, in different location, but with the same port and I could connect to it. So there is no problem with blocking the port by my software.
Can the TCP packets sent be constructed differently on Vista than on XP?
