No. Unfortunately disabling the front line jack did nothing. However, I've been finding some more people with problems that FINALLY sound like mine. One guy said something like "well, you always record in mono and it's up to you to mix it to stereo.: (I'm using cool edit pro 2.0 by the way). It just sucks because my old computer with xp had no problem with my mic. I could visually see two channels being recorded as i'm speaking/playing guitar. I just think its a huge pain in the ass having to mix EVERY track i have to make it sound like stereo. Whereas it came out as stereo or "two channels" by default on my old comp. Thanks for the suggestion johngalt. Hopefully I can get some more possible solutions.
