When I open a .DOC file that came as a mail attachment in Windows Mail, I see
the Open / Cancel dialog box. When I select Open, the following error is
displayed:

This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this
action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel.

I already have Word asssociated with .DOC files. The same file opens
correctly when saved to disk, and then viewed.
