This is a bit technical but easy to do. I will assume your computer has no
PS2/8042 port. There fore you don't want that service to try and start. Read
this from MS:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935497

Now run regedit and go to the Services part as shown in the above article.
You are looking for i8042prt (not parport as in the kb article) Once you
find the right key, follow the kb instructions to change the Start to 4...
disabled. Be sure to write down the value there before any changes.
