I have a Vista Home Premium 32bit. I tried to send an email with attachments but the file is so large that I get an error message, and that the server has closed. I realised I had made a mistake in not reducing the size of the files (A4 drawings in colour) - I have since acquired Photoshop and greatly reduced the image sizes. The problem begins whenever I open Windows Mail I do not get the mail default window but the window for sending a new message, the implication being that I cannot access inbox, outbox, sent, etc. When I click on send & receive on the new message window I have a smaller window stating that it is attempting to send the oversized email - which of course never is completed. (a) How do I delete the attachments (9 of them) and the email concerned? (b) How do I restore the Windows Mail default page that should automatically open? Until I can return to Windows Mail I am running Windows Mail Live - which is OK but I'd like to remove the attachments on the message in my out box which I fear will create other problems. Regards.
