It may be possible for me to recover with Gigabyte's Express Recovery after all. The image backup file (which resides in the unformatted portion of my C: drive) re-appeared after I put an OS on the primary partition. So I am trying the restore now.
If it restores okay then I will try the suggestions. I have an appointment soon so it may not be until this afternoon. |
