CRC errors normally are caused by bad media. This would be the DVD in most cases.
Try a different DVD to see if this solves the problem, you can use the key for the version you have purchased.
As you have installed XP you know it is not your drive.
Try reading the Vista disk from within XP.
You can look in your error log to see if there are any others problems that may be contributing to this. |
