If the replies from the Yahoo list are always sent from the same
email address, you can add that email address to the Safe Senders list.
However, most list emails use the From address of the individual
sender, which makes white-listing impractical. If the Subject always
contains a keyword, such as the list name, you could filter on that.
However, I believe that WM's internal spam rules take precedence
over custom rules, a bad design decision. I don't think OE had a
Junk E-mail (spam) filter, which is why you didn't experience that
problem with OE.
Your only choices are to turn the Junk E-mail filter off, or else
continue adding those senders to the Safe Senders list.
