Re: downloaded files disappear...actually never appear
Sounds like some people are having permissions problems. Had the same problem my first time around vista. Can't remember how I stumbled upon it this solution, but if you right-click in the folder your downloading, go into the properties, then to the securities tab and click the edit you should be given the option to give permission to the various account on your computer. All you have to do is give yourself full control of the folder and re-download the file and voilą! no more invisible downloaded files. That usually works for me anyway, or I just download to the downloads folder. |
